27-31 December 2001, Martha & Chris (part-time). 62.5 miles in 5 days. Thu: train, Eastbourne Parade then coast over the Seven Sisters to Alfriston. Fri: Kingston via Southease Church. Sat: Woke to find fresh snow fallen overnight! Chris Channer met us and we carried on the Way to Poynings. Sun: Storrington. See for miles, sea on the left, England on the right. Became a slog as we ran out of daylight. Had to cut across country paths, boggy underfoot. Mon: Chris's cold and feet forced him to abandon the last day, so he got a taxi/train home. Martha and I continued to Bosham via River Arun, Arundel Castle, and train to Chichester/Bosham. Great weather, great trip!
