Returned to Flaine with Matt and Paul (his first time), staying again at a quiet hotel, Bois du Seigneur. Welcomed by great snow but incredibly cold; -20°C in Samoens Valley, -26°C on the tops, -40°C with wind-chill. Explored all areas; the wooded runs of Les Carroz, the high bowl of Flaine itself; the 14km Piste des Cascades from Flaine to Sixt. Samoens village is particularly nice in the evening, never has a vin chaud tasted so good!
